I think it's also the age and demographics the two cars are aimed at, I noticed that our older forum members(agewise) who don't track as much and is looking for a casual club racer would choose the BRZ( notice that those people have very fine taste in cars as well they already owned higher quality cars. Lotus, Lexus, Higher end Toyota sports cars) They were already a teir up to begin with They're not the Celica owners or the TC. While our younger member who is just starting out or Track often (Corolla, Si,Celica, tc owners)is looking for the FRS. I also know that people will change their minds on a dime depending what information is released. And the younger of the two crowds is very easily swayed. I like it alot that someone mentioned that one big fact that you'll only be looking at the car's outside about 1% of the time, but you'll be inside it 99% of the time. That is something very true, and I think people forget about it. And honestly I feel like our older members has already either A owned a car that was much more spartan then the FRS, people who have owned old Rx7,Lotus,s2000. Can appreciate both sides because they know how nice it is to have that Extra or how nice it is to not have anything.

And I just like to point out that in the event that you finance the car, 24k and 22K aren't that different per month. If your bent out of shape by paying about 20$ more a month for the better equipped car, then I don't think this scene is for you. You'll spend alot more on parts then 20$ a month. You'll pay to fuel it at the track more then 20$ a month, and for those that say yes there's more options. Options cost money. I wonder how many people considered the fact that by the time they get the car they want it's 24k. or even dealer mark up of the BRZ.

Now it's just your exterior that's objective. To each his own.Premium or Limited etc. the cars wont cost exactly 24K so add that to your factor. You should up your expectation

Expect to pay or see BRZ premium at 26k sitting on the lot.
Expect to pay or see FRS close to 24K sitting on the lot.

Because dealers will add shit and you know it. Even SCION unless you know exactly what your doing and I can tell their's alot of new car buyers out here that wont. Becareful.
