Interesting and potentially troubling if "thin" Subaru paint isn't as durable as Toyota paint. What's different about the Subaru process, just the thickness or something else compared to the Toyota primer/base/color/(pearl, mica, metallic opt.)/clearcoat process?

I'll have to read up in the detailing forum about polishes and waxes best for Subaru paint. I've always used carnauba/water based Griot's products with a random orbital buffer on my Toyota/Lexus cars, but maybe a polymer product works better for "thin" paint.
