I hope that the manual doesn't go the way of the dodo bird, but with all the tech they put into autos, I can't help but wonder if they will... In fact if a car company could buy the autos as cheap as standards, I wonder how that would effect decisions in the way they equip cars..
If this car would've came with a regular auto, I would've deffiently gotten a stick btw..

i don't disagree,however "traditionally" it's been stick mainly because the "technology"of the slush boxes was mediocre at best. today,with the advent of computer driven electronics,along with advances in lock up torque converters,the "lowly" slush has risen out of the ashes,much like the proverbial phoenix. as mentioned,and i agree,the slush in this car is very,very good,however,in my view, a "direct drive transmission" gives better control,and "feels" more in synch with the car...call me traditional!..so be it!...just sayin'
