I installed a Diono Radian R100 facing forward behind the driver and a Graco SnugRide 32 facing rearward behind the front passenger.

I've attached photos so you can see how the Diono seat looks like it was made for this car. Since I'm about 6 feet 2 inches tall, my three-year-old son sits behind me with his legs crossed or resting on the center cupholder area.

The Graco seat latches into a base that stays in the car. This feature allows me to remove the seat, buckle my one-year-old into while it outside of the car, and then snap the seat into the base. It requires some strength to lift the seat into the car with the child in it, but I imagine it could also be difficult to get a baby into a rear-facing seat that was already anchored in the back seat of the car.

I might not enjoy this setup if I had to use it every day, but I think it's great for an occasional trip. In a pinch, I have even fit a 5'8" woman in the front passenger seat with both kids in the back.

When my one-year-old outgrows the Graco seat, I plan to replace it with a second Diono seat. Then I can move the larger child to the passenger side for more leg room since I rarely have a front passenger with both kids.

With this strategy, I hope to keep "living the dream" for many years to come! Maybe this info will help someone else do the same.
