But anyways, a dealership isn't suppose to take YOUR car out on any "test drives" without you acknowledging it. Second of all, ALWAYS write down the mileage you have before you leave your car in their possession. That way they can't deny if they took it out or not.

Been driving for over 27 years now and I've never had a dealer ask if they could take my car for a test drive after a repair. Are you speaking from experience here? It would be nice to know for a fact if they are required to get permission...
