You're not wrong about the comfort when in comes to SB's, but imo they were not about that. It was all about the feel and most brands I mentioned will qualify in that category.
I didn't go that far when it came to skateboarding cause I didn't want mess up my ankles since I was more into other sports. Anyway SB's did make some iconic and sought out collectibles shoes though.
My favorite will always be the Tiffany's.
