That's what I did, picked up a '04 Suburban Z71 for winter/around town family stuff not long after getting the 86.

It had around 100K miles on it, was $50K new (had the original sticker in the glovebox) and I picked it up for about 1/5th of that.

Of course, it's hard to peel the top back on it without a cutting torch.
