I've never had any issues with Schroth on any of the local tracks here and I have been using various sets for over 10 years. The key is the ASM technology Schroth uses. They are one of the only DOT legal harnesses out there because of the ASM they have integrated into them. One of few options I will consider for a street car/weekend track car. If its a fully dedicated race car then there are better options. Whats equally important is the harness angle behind your shoulders. Depending how you guys hooked em up this could potentially be a death trap even in a low speed collision. The harness must maintain 90' from your shoulders otherwise the harness will crush your spine. So I hope at the vary least the guy with the Schroths are running a harness bar.
