It looks like TRD is using the laminova coils to intercool. GM was the first to use these in production on the supercharged cobalt SS and then on the Cadillac CTS-V. They are extremely efficient and able to be very tightly packaged. I was looking at building a W2A IC for turbocharged cars using these as they can handle 150hp per tube.

You say you don't get cool things in AU but the guy that has been doing the bulk of manufacturing ICs using laminova tubes is in AU and has been building intake manifolds with integrated ICs for Toyota diesel trucks.

These guys make some pretty cool stuff down under.

The laminova cores would be awesome with an SC and make a great small package. I hope this is what TRD comes out with.
