Since the car is a daily driver, i wouldnt recommend lowering the car too much. Maybe a 1 inch drop would suffice to make it look more agressive. In which case id recommend springs instead of coilovers. From what ive seen, they are fairly strait foward to install if you have the right tools.

If youre willing to put in abit more money than those things above, a complete exhaust system will give you abit more umph but that may require a mechanic in order to get to all the parts. after the exhaust a tune will squeeze out more out of the whole system.

Turbo and super chargers require alot of money to fully assemble and tune. One of the colorado members i hang with has a vortech supercharger in his and he ran into alot of issues along the way and has put in abit of money (i dont know how much exactly but the system itself cost about 4k) But his brz is pushing 365hp and its crazy to see that thing pull away on the highways.

From my own experience, i really enjoy how a stock frs feels. the only time i ever feel it lacking is on the strait highways when i have to pass trucks.
Yes in on of my post I did say I didn't plan on installing myself, but my cousin is a full time mechanic who I plan on helping me if or when I decide to get some parts. But your information was pretty helpful along with the others who recently posted. I'm liking all the different perspectives. Like I said I don't have much knowledge when it comes to tuning but this Fr-s is wanting to broaden my horizons.
