It's been posted several places. A quick google search provided me with several results. Here's one from Car and Driver. It appears the hood is aluminum on both cars actually.

As we’ve known for quite a while, the Subaru BRZ and the Toyota GT 86 will be nearly indistinguishable. Instead of pointing out things they’ll share, like an aluminum hood and every other major body panel, let us focus on the differences. Badges, for one, will be a differentiator, including those on the nose, the tail, and in the centers of the otherwise identical wheels. Lighting-element details differ on both ends, as do the cars’ front fascias, but the only noticeable difference in the rear is the Subaru’s lack of a spoiler and its smaller exhaust tips. Each brand treats the fender insert at the base of the A-pillar differently, with Subie opening its up to a large speared vent.
