The hood on the Subaru is already aluminum. A carbon fiber hood is just bling, not really removing too much weight. Moving the battery to the trunk after adding a whole supercharger system will definitely help out redistributing to the proper ideal weight distribution.

With how much a carbon fiber hood would cost, you'd see better performance gains from low-weight alloy wheels.
