Also what people don't get is that faster =/= more fun. Grippier wider tires for example mean it takes that much more speed/work to get it to break traction. If you think brute speed is what makes a car fun, go buy a used Pontiac (Holden) GTO, or a V6 Mustang.

My Evo is old now and I'm getting bored of it though it's modded out a bit making more power and handling a bit better, and I would either have to turn it into a dedicated track/rally machine (go all out on hardcore mods) and would use this new car as my everyday machine, or, would just sell off my Evo and just run this full-time.
More power = faster pulling out of certain turns where you can't carry a high speed into. Pulling harder out of said turns faster = more fun, for me at least.
