Not to change the subject, but this strikes me as silly. Do you have a thing against Asian products? I'm assuming not since you have one of the twins. I understand where you're coming from, but take a step back and look at it.
This reminds me of when I showed my first WRX to my grandparents (which at the time GM still had the Fuji Heavy shares). They went on and on about hurting america this and sliting our own wrists that. Then I asked if they'd be alright if I came home with a Porsche or a Merc and they said yes: THEY'RE STILL FOREIGN.
