I checked today and my average is at 13.8l/100km (17 MPG). Oops.
I am going to leave the main resonator on my car. I took the snorkel off when installing my FMIC but plan to replace it with aftermarket eventually.
I still need to do some shrouding tweaks around the fmic/radiator/heat exchanger before I'm totally finished with the intake.
