Like it or not lowering a car to near impracticality or putting on shiny wheels that only serve to please a certain subset WILL raise objections, as will putting on slicks or putting in a roll cage or stripping out the interior as will painting it pink or metallic green or putting on a body kit.
Everybody is different, there are certainly people I talk to daily who think I'm dumb for not wanting a wing + fart cannon + 19" wheels for my FRS but that's one of the few things that make car culture interesting. All you gotta say is "well it makes me happy" and let others blow the blood vessel.
or penis as the case may be.

Why shouldn't it? I'd rather not be associated with something that I personally do not care for... Should I be welcoming dudes to hit on me? As i said, I'm completely cool with whatever other people want to do, but saying that I'm stereotyping by not wanting to be called something I'm not is a joke.
Near impracticality? I drive my car 100 miles a day and bring it to the track with no issues... Where is the impracticality? As I said, people can dislike it, people can express the fact that they don't like it, but stop spouting out misinformation.

I can't stop some stance blog from posting a picture of my car... They post what they find on the internet. If they want to post a drift car, more power to them.
