This is a car that is intended to sell to enthusiasts. For the money, you give up a lot of space and features to own an FR-S/BRZ vs other vehicles in its price range. Unless they soften it and somehow vastly increase the equipment list while keeping the price the same, I wouldn't expect this to be a vehicle with mass market appeal.

i agree in principal,and upon reflection,realize i misspoke. your reasoning "trumps" my own,in that one HAS to view this car as unique,and as such,people seeking it out "used" WILL indeed WANT the stick over the 'slush"
box for the reason(s) you cited. i stand corrected.
