I did mess with a few road course people when I stopped by the NASA event after our AutoX to say high to @
kos. I passed a few that were trying to make fun of us and I told them it's just like road course racing minus all the boring straights. We joked back and forth but a lot of them enjoy AutoX and started out there before dumping a boat load of money into a purpose built time trial car/wheel to wheel race car. I feel you can safely have fun doing both as long as you stay well within your limits and your cars limits at the track and learn how to stop an out of control car at AutoX. Also with Pro Auto Sports if someones breaks are failing and they are not knowledgeable enough to get that car off the track and they hit you then they will be fixing your car.
