Unfortunately though, harassment happens, and it happens quite a lot in larger urban areas like DC. It's easy to become jaded.

And yes, not everyone who buys the car is going to buy it because of the low center of gravity, RWD, suspension, balance, etc. Some people are going to buy it because they like the way it looks. That doesn't make you any less of an enthusiast, or make your car any less awesome.

i totally understand and sorry if i offended you or anyone else. sometimes its hard to approach a girl about her ride b/c 1. its her boyfriends (and she doesnt know anything about it. then it makes for an awkward situation) or 2. she thinks were trying to hit on her. i totally understand harassment happens and its 100% unacceptable but know most guys just wanna talk about cars. take @ette for example. when she shows up for a meet, her and i bullshit all day about cars or people or how i think a truck should when at a drag racing event....MY MONIES ON THE TRUCK (inside joke). I just wish most girls wouldnt jump to conclusions or assume.
