Sorry if my words are too strong for your liking. I feel strongly about this and if you want a DIY here is it:
After removing the H11 bulb, stick your index finger in the hole where the light socket was mounted. At the underside of the opening there is a bendable metal piece. Simply push it down as far as you can.

You are correct though, I think it added 15 seconds per side first time I did it.
