The squirrel finder fix requires all of an extra ten seconds per side. Not fixing it is lazy and inconsiderate. Not to mention that people want to retroifit HID lighting to look and perform as close to OEM as possible, so this is necessary to do so.

Opening the headlight encloisures and swapping the projectors is a big job and not within most people's ability. Fortunately in the case of the FR-S the only tradeoff I have observed with the stock projector is a diminished peripheral view as compared to OEM HID's.
