Looks like there is a white tach

As for this announcement, my first impression was bad.
I feel like the interior might fall apart or feel brittle and fall into pieces if I sit inside. Especially those seats.
But now I think again, this is one hell of a cheap-ass interior. I'm inclined to say my 2010 Civic interior *looks* better (dash wise), and that's an economy car starting at $16k.
I think this car fulfilled its point.
Let's think about it, if anything was lost, it was purely cosmetic. From a performance perspective, you're still getting an 86 platform, albeit most likely cheaper.
They said they wanted it to be light. To be simple. And to be a blank canvas for whatever the end-user wants.
When I see it now, I can only think of the many things I want to change and upgrade, and to make it my "own" personal car (not riced out mind you).
The only thing left, which can ultimately make or break this car, is price.
