How far down is your pedal? try moving it closer to just right above the brake pedal; being that the spring is feeling worn in, the minimal clutch travel may be overwhelming the lesser tension from the spring now; also, most people who posted seem to like the feel of that pedal position the best; personally mine still sits slightly Lower; though I haven't driven 18k miles yet like you have.

I first noticed the issue the other day when i pushed in the clutch to shift and as I lifted my foot I felt the thump of the pedal returning to the fully up position. It fully disengauges so it isn't riding the clutch at all but it is not rising off the sensor that lets your cruise control know you aren't pressing the clutch, and the gear inidicator doesn't display the gear unless i lift the pedal up with my foot. It will stay there once manually lifted but the spring seems to be tired and can't fully pop it into the up position.
