I've heard that autos are insanely expensive to fix and break a lot more often than a manual. Personally I'm not into drifting, it's fun to do in video games but on the road in the real world it's totally impractical unless your Keiichi Tsuchiya or someone else with a lot of money. That's just my opinion though and it's also my opinion that the BRZ is more suited to road racing instead of drifting.
