Without comparing the actual torque curves, one can assume that the FT86 will probably be marginally better as a DD than the AP1 S2000 because the peak torque occurs at a lower RPM and the boxer is not as "max rev-oriented". However, I'd guess that the AP2 S2000 will trump the FT86.
Wonderful. And the (rare) healthy teenager on a BMX bike will out accelerate both in normal, everyday driving.
