I wouldn't mind ordering from eastern states but the freight is too pricey. Last time I had my car delivered to me from Qld it cost like $1500 and arrived covered in red dust plus a broken front lip (had lowered springs but still.....) which then started a 3 week saga to get compensation. They tried every trick and excuse imaginable to not pay a compo. In the end the compo money received was just not worth the time and effort spent on seeking it. I just wouldn't trust a brand new car to any freight companies no matter how big they are....too risky.

Not to worry! Toyota actually wrote a memo to Dealers saying on 10 July last year 2/3 months for a GT. I had ordered mine a week before that and true to form, believing in 'Honest Mr Toyota' that car will finally arrive at the Dealers 25 May, a week short of ELEVEN MONTHS!!!!!
I think a copy of that memo appears on page 9 or thereabouts
Just cross your fingers and pray!
Anyway, I don't drive mine - I sit in the garage and look at it! It doesn't stop raining!!
And when it's fine?
Don't worry, a few of us that already have ours will still come here and support you all during the wait me, Cuddefred and im sure The Demons when his arrives in a few weeks!
