Going from a 4350 lb. 360hp 550i to a 2750 lb. 200hp 86, the difference in power/weight isn't all that tremendous.
The difference in power is not going to be anything like as apparent as the difference in weight!
I haven't made the switch from my (stock) S2000 yet, but I do go back and forth between that car and a ~530hp V8 RX-7. On the street, I don't miss the RX-7's power that much when I'm in the S2k, because I drive pretty sanely on the street.
