With the feedback I am getting it seems like more worth my while to get some type of ECU tune software because it will have a greater overall positive effect to the car in relation to increasing performance. Perhaps I am putting it too simply though.

Yes, getting a tune will worth while. It will wake you car up and give you the real advertised gains from a CAI and exhaust. Other than HP in crease I'm getting rid of the stock intake because I want the engine bay to be clean. Not clunker with multiple boxes.
