I had a bit of a play with mine tonight.
I found that by pressing the buttons in a different sequence I could access either the line diag menu or the service menu....
you have to do it really fast but pressing and holding the 3 in order audio->voice->map then i got into the line diag menu
pressing and holding map->voice->audio in sequence got me into the service menu
I had to do this really quick, almost instantaneously but it was definitely repeatable. you will need to play a bit to get the knack of it!

Oh that's interesting. And makes sense. Are there any interesting things you can do in the service menu? I didn't bother very much to look at that.
