That would be a difference between me and you. I have gone out to races with brake pads that I hope last or tires that I hope don't cord in the first half of the race. Sometimes I win, and sometimes I lose. I buy brake pads and tires with my hard earned money, and I want to get the most I can out of each of them, and it bites you sometimes. Nothing is ever going to be 100%.
