yeah i am confused as well, have never been into this topic before... in the technical documents it says the wheel width has still to be inside the body with the maximum possible complete wheel width being 1.04 times the regular measured size (maybe due to lesser pressure?). If I count that in, its 625.13 regular size with -13.5 from perfect flush. So if i understand right, if i count 625.13 times 1.04 i result in 650.14 total wheel width at maximum possible width. this means the wheel is 25.01 more wide, if i take half of it (12,51), its still nearly 1mm away from perfect flush ==> thus, there should be no body work needed!
... why the hell does the technical document say otherwise...
(this calculation was done considering 215/45 R17 standard wheel size)
EDIT: OK, I'm stupid. Of course the width is what matters and not the diameter. So what do I use? 215mm? Then it would be still good. Or does the technical document mean the LOWER ends of the fenders which are way more into the body than the upper part..?
