Hello fellow GT86/BRZ/FR-S Drivers, I am from the german gt86drivers.de-forum and just stumbled over this excellent forum as well. Big props to the guys who made that chart with the wheel sizes and proper pictures with mounted rims!
So what I am looking for is sort of having extraordinary rims on the gt86. Please don't stone me for my choice of flavor, but I seem to really like the Dotz Fast Seven or Dotz Hanzo on my grey GT86
There is a technical approval for both of them, however, it also includes the requirement by german TUEV to roll out/bend the fenders as well as bend the latch back (?) that holds the rear skirt (sorry for my bad english, has been a while :P ).
This does not seem to be the case when I look at the chart I found at this forum... so I wonder, could I install any of these two babies on my gt86 without having to do ANY body work at all? I dont want to do body work on a new produced car with fresh paint :P Can anybody help me?
Both Dotz are 8x17 with ET32 offset.
I would put any rubber on it as well... only if it would prevent bodywork!
