I could see the engine overboosting and a piston coming apart... but I don't see a rod coming out the side with under 400whp. The rods don't seem to be that weak to me, but I haven't seen them in pictures. But they look like they will handle 500whp without issue from the pics I've seen. Now, at that power level I'd expect rod bolt stretch eventually causing a failure.
I guess let's all hope we aren't the unlucky ones? Failure seems low, but there are only a handful of FI cars out there in comparison to NA.
