Frs300 out of curiosity, did your engine have any weird noise when you started it? my engine has a weird sound in that exact area where your hole is since i installed my turbo kit. at first, i thought it was my turbo that was dry and missing oil, after many checks and stuff its getting its oil but the weird noise is still there. i removed my serpentine belt and checked all my pulleys for a bad bearing and the alternator as well but all is fine. i started the motor again and it still sounds weird. i dont know if you are getting your oil feed from the same location as me and if your turbo uses an oil restrictor but mine doesnt. i am starting to wonder if its not a lack of oil in that area in the motor caused by the turbo oil feed.
i simply turned my car off and i am debating removing my whole turbo kit and going back to stock just to start the motor again so that i can compare the noise with or without the kit.
