There is no interference. Gauges don't send current, they read the input. You can't interfere with anything when there's nothing to interfere with.

As many vehicles as I've worked on, I have not experienced an issue where one tach connection was any better over another, aside from convenience of location, and especially nothing noting fuel injectors weren't a reliable source for a tach signal.

In fact, unless using a data module, most vehicles spec the uncommon color wire at the fuel injector to be used as the tach. At least in these vehicles, I don't have to go under the hood to get to it.
