ichitaka05 So, the drive is a$$ and costly, but I'm thinking about it. One thing that might sway me is if we had a chance at a dyno "Shootout". If there were any shops in the area that would sponsor that, it would be tempting and fun.
I know Dyno time is costly, and time consuming to hook a car up and take it down, but requirements could thin the herd out. Setting up NA, SC, and Turbo divisions, requiring a previous dyno, and being a "top contender" in your class.
Maybe prizes could be won, like cheap... I mean awesome trophys! Or a custom vinyl window sticker.
Also, if someone wanted to carpool with me, and split a hotel room might tempt me as well, so the drive could be done in one shot, and not having to stop for 2 3 hour power naps.
