A little update so my previous times (see quote) were done with a Pennin LWP and drop-in filter installed; now I'm on a @
FA20Club.com pump-gas tune as well. So I retested my 60-80mph times and got the following results. Note, I performed multiple runs in each gear and the times I'm showing is not necessarily the fastest time but the most consistent time.
Gear ..... RPM range ...... Time .... Difference from stock tune
3rd ...... 5357-7143 ..... 3.6s ....... -0.1s
4th ...... 4196-5594 ..... 4.7s ....... -0.3s
5th ...... 3468-4624 ..... 6.4s ....... -0.2s
6th ...... 2655-3540 ..... no noticeable improvement
I think they represent some good improvements ... to get better 6th gears times a header or FI would be needed to improve "the dip".
