this article). It's a niche halo affordable alternative to the LFA. 1000/year means it's more economical to hand build than to spend millions designing/building manufacturing robots.
A couple months ago a Scion rep involved in insider meetings in Japan told me there would only be a handful in the entire San Diego region every month. Disappointing but this 1000/year figure came as no surprise to me.
