When you look at your dash and and see 30mpg, that's the result. This topic has also been discussed at length in other threads. I don't have any handy, but I've read them on this forum.

It's likely a change in fuel mixture. We've already pretty much cemented the fact it's ethanol content in fuel, which varies drastically between brands and batches. My car has chirped since day 1, off and on. It's currently not, but I filled up at a gas station with ethanol-free fuel last fill up.
