I have been lucky when upload new roms...Here is what I found out in my research.
Make sure your Ecutek software is updated. (It updates almost everyday)
Make sure your laptop is fully charged.
Turn everything off in the car (AC and Radio\NAV)
Close all doors
Close all programs except for the Ecutek software
Plug in Ecutek cable
Upload ROM and wait...don't touch anything...
When it is says it is successful and you turn on your car. Let it Idle for like 2 to 3 mins before you drive off.
