I think I recently figured out that I have to have one, so here I am registering and introducing myself. I haven't felt the 'pull' toward a new vehicle like this since 2002 when I had to have the Holden Monaro, whatever they called it when they brought it over.

...They brought it over in 2004 as the Pontiac GTO. I bought an '04 in '04 and now have a highly-modified 2005. It's run a best of 11.033@125.61 in 8500' DA. I'm as much in love with this car now as I was a decade ago when I watched the Aussie 'Game Over' commercial online.

But now I'm eyeballing the Toyobaru and I feel like I absolutely have to have one of them. I've been a longtime fan of Toyotas, having owned a few Corollas as commuters over the years and a '96 4Runner SR5 since the fall of '99.

The concept for the FT-86 was fascinating to me from the get-go. I can't wait to check out the production model in person.

Thanks for the space.
