I'm not worried about a near $30k price point. I'm worried it'll be closer to $25k, which is still a bit too much, especially after tax (in my state that would up the total cost, PRE INTEREST, to ~$27.5k)

If you look at the photos from Toyota UK, they are clearly getting the high spec (LED strips, leather trim, heated seats, nav, 17" wheels). I think the Scion will be the low spec and cheaper (and the one I'll buy).
