A number of things had converged:
* a number of acquantances, more experienced than I, had major and, if not some, fatal accidents.
* Loss of that adventurous feeling of going on weekend or week-long* trips.
*Losing the 120% concentration needed (in part due to previous reason).
* Tired of suiting up in helmet, gloves, boots, jacket and pants especially on those nice sunny days in May, June, July, August and Sept when I could be out on the water, playing tennis or other important social and family activities. Cooler months even more tedious.
* Change of Pace, Survival.
With a car like the BRZ, will still be able to do that Touring of the Country but easier, safer and just as much (almost) fun.
DO I miss it. You bet. Reading the following is what really hurts, but there is a time for everything. In my case, the BRZ has arrived.
