So basically the springs in the clutch are compensating for any of that drag from the transmission. When this happens the springs in the friction disk will give a little and then press the disk back to it's normal position. This back and forth motion of the disk causes light chatter.
My clutch does this all the time, but I'm running a stage 4 race clutch. I'd ask to have my transmisson fluid changed to a better fluid like Motul 300 Gear. If that doesn't cure it then it may be the clutch itself.

thanks for your explanation. however I only notice this when the ac is on. that is why i noticed it today only. is there a link between the ac and clutch? Do you still hear this when ac is off?
