Interesting discussion. I am not a club officer nor do I design the courses; but I am quite involved in the club and we are all good friends. The club will be looking again at the safety requirements, now that they have some video to review as well. We do know that it is not the safest environment for AutoX, but always trying to make the best of a difficult venue.

I will not be suing the club ... not an option I am willing to pursue for a slew of reasons. I know the risks I am taking at these venues.

At this time the video is staying private; I was looking more for direction on what happened and most of the descriptions here are what I thought to have happened as well. I placed it in private on my own decision after seeing the discussions here related to the venue (not my driving, I take constructive criticism well ... I am not the best driver by any means!). I will review my decision after some more thought.

And that incident of the people crossing the track has been taken care of by the club. Not acceptable by any means.

Sorry for the teaser.

Jay
