BTW, I've found that Rustoleum Satin Black looks incredible on aluminum for stuff like that.

xd-16's (the gauges that are all over the passanger side of the car) are thin enough to surface mount.. no hole saw needed.. I have two sitting in my garage if anyone wants a good deal
