You could also install a Vibrant Ultra Quiet Resonator somewhere in the exhaust. It is straight through design but it quiets down the exhaust a lot and removes drone/rasp.

Here is a review:

I am even more pleased with the results. While I did not have a dB meter handy, I can say that raspiness was eliminated and overall interior volume seemed to be cut by about 40%. When paired with a 3" WBR axleback, my STi is now almost as quiet as stock.

And another:

[ame="http://www.amazon.com/Vibrant-1141-Ultra-Quiet-Resonator/dp/B000E3VHWI"]Vibrant 1141 2.5" Ultra Quiet Resonator : Amazon.com : Automotive[/ame]

This resonator is everything I wanted. I had a 2.5" Downpipe connected to a 2.5" cat-back system and boy did it DRONE BAD! as early as 3000 RPMs!

It drove me INSANE (this is with the windows UP!) I found this, bought it, had a section of straight pipe between the cat and catback cut off and this fit in there pefectly (but i knew this before i ordered it)

Now i would say, even with my full turboback system, it is just as quiet as stock! this is what i wanted, a stealth exhaust system

As for quality, it is amazing, you wont find a single weld you dont like. Plus the design is straight though, i did not "feel" any power loss due to any "backpressure" doubt there was much backpressure added...
