Not sure I agree if your deductible is low turn this into the insurance immediately. Since your vehicle was parked in a parking lot and there is no visible structural damage these things actually don't make it onto your carfax report. I had a 2011 Buick Regal that someone slammed into and ripped the bumper off in a parking lot. Went through insurance and nothing on the Carfax after and sold my car for above Bluebook. Not sure what the details of your situation are that made this happen, but out of the 4 to 5 times I have had to report parking lot incidents I have never had them impact the value of the vehicle. Even if this got on the Carfax, this kind of collision doesn't lower the value of the car significantly.
