People have used SMD type LED's or even CREE LED's in fog light applications that while that remains true that they will never be as bright as headlights, these 22w LED bulbs do not fall under that catagory.
I haven't tested them in the high beam/drl mode yet, because I haven't reecived any 9005 sizes, but I will get those soon

I'd definitely be interested to see how well these might work as DRL's. If they do work well then I'll be buying both for DRL and for headlights. Thanks!
