Yes, the cushion is essentially for looks, but the stock plastic is so harsh that I'd rather have these parts anyways. I can justify my purchase in many different ways, but essentially if you want something that you can ram your knee against that feels like a pillow, these aren't it. I've never had a car that's offered knee protection, so I find these to be sufficient. I just need to be less clumsy, I figure! hahaha
Can you just go to the local hardware store and get a matching screw, or is there no hole on the usdm panel?
